Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision, adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Monitor patient progress continuously and respond promptly to changes in condition or critical events.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document all patient interactions, clinical findings, and interventions accurately and timely in the EMR.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Georgia.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required for most units.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care excellence.
