Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through comprehensive physical examinations and detailed history taking.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in close collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document all patient care activities, including assessments, treatments, and responses to therapy.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine commitment to patient advocacy and quality care.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Entry-level experience or new graduate of an accredited nursing program.
