Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team huddles
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (or compact state)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (new graduates welcome)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
