Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and discharge instructions
- Adhere to hospital protocols, OSHA standards, and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred for critical care roles)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
