As a Registered Nurse, you will be the cornerstone of our patient care delivery, ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort for every individual who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with approved nursing protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive health strategies.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Respond to emergent situations promptly and effectively, utilizing critical thinking and crisis management skills.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
