Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and monitor patient conditions throughout the shift.
- Clinical Care: Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to code blue situations and medical emergencies.
- Education: Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and care plans.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome with appropriate internship).
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency with electronic medical records.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Compassion: Strong patient advocacy skills and a compassionate demeanor.
