Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional direct and indirect patient care across diverse medical units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Monitor patient conditions and respond effectively to emergency situations
- Mentor new nurses and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in unit-based safety committees and infection control practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required within 90 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Expertise in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Demonstrated critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
