Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care across diverse medical units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic procedures, and monitor patient vitals
- Document patient records accurately using Epic EHR systems
- Mentor nursing students and new staff through our preceptorship program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (or compact state)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
