Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in assigned clinical units with precision and empathy
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- BSN degree strongly preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years acute care experience considered
- Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience in acute care setting
- Proven critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity
