Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal care coordination.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Commitment to adhering to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
