Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans using Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO standards
- Participate in rapid response and code blue emergencies
- Precept new nurses and contribute to unit quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience with ACLS/BLS certification
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
