Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units with specialized focus on critical cases
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations with swift clinical interventions
- Conduct patient assessments and health education to promote recovery and wellness
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) systems and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota RN license (or compact license eligibility)
- BSN degree with 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
