Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical data accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and hospital infection control protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience (new graduates welcome with residency program)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities and cultural competence
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
