Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention in fast-paced medical-surgical environments
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with precision and patient safety focus
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient care accurately and maintain comprehensive electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and decisive action
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with unrestricted practice privileges
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for specialty roles
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in medical-surgical or telemetry settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments
