Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress to identify changes that require medical intervention.
- Document all patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Respond to emergency situations with calm and efficient judgment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
