Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assess patient needs using evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to changes in clinical status.
- Document patient care activities and medical records accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health maintenance strategies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Maryland.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
