Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue events.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New graduates considered).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) number required.
