Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, strictly adhering to safety protocols and medication administration records (MAR).
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, IV therapy, and patient education regarding disease management and recovery.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to coordinate seamless patient care transitions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions to patients and families.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, urgent care environment.
