Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by interviewing, observing, and examining patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition or symptoms.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and self-care.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license to practice in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
