Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care strategies.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome with BSN).
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use electronic medical record systems (EMR) efficiently.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of critical thinking in emergency situations.
