Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in fast-paced emergency and critical care units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical outcomes accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Provide patient and family education on health management
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards
- Mentor new nursing staff during high-acuity situations
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license (or compact license with NV endorsement)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in ER/ICU setting
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Clear background check and drug screening
