Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Monitor patient vitals and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Implement patient care plans and educate patients/families on health management
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records in Epic systems
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience accepted
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 1+ years acute care nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
