Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in medical-surgical units with 4:1 patient ratio
- Administer medications and perform diagnostic procedures per protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for treatment planning
- Document patient records using Epic EHR systems
- Mentor new staff through our Nurse Residency Program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment skills
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with 2+ years experience)
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- 1+ years acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
- Tampa Bay area residency required
