Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and clinical assessment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical charts, reporting significant changes to the nursing team.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Indiana.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (Med-Surg preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
