Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care by conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in strict adherence to physician orders and safety protocols.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical data, promptly reporting any deviations to the charge nurse or physician.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Respond to emergent situations with composure, utilizing critical thinking and adherence to hospital emergency codes.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri (or eligible for Kansas/Compact privileges).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- AACN or AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on patient safety.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
