Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and vital signs, adjusting care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and families.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities.
