Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans under the direction of physicians and nurses.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and home care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
- Respond to emergent situations and assist in code blue scenarios when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New grads with internships considered).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- CPR certification valid for 12 months.
