Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care and treatment plans as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and intervene appropriately to prevent complications.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (Critical Care experience preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care environment.
- Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
