Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical exams and making clinical judgments.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
- Document patient care services using the electronic health record (EHR) system accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Respond to code blue and emergency situations immediately and effectively.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and healing environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
