Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with medical standards and hospital protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop optimal treatment strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient medical records and care provided.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions.
- Uphold infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates with exceptional skill may be considered).
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures and evidence-based practice standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and families.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a focus on patient safety.
