Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and recovery progress.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and disease prevention.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and critical situations.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (new graduates welcome with sponsorship).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
