Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, promptly reporting any changes to the charge nurse or physician.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
- Respond to emergency situations with composure and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
