Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond immediately to emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Teach patients and families about health conditions and self-care strategies.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Florida.
- BSN preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with experience.
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred based on unit.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
