Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform patient assessments with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide patient/family education and emotional support during challenging times
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior staff and uphold highest standards of nursing excellence
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement process)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in hospital setting
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
