Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using advanced EHR systems
- Advocate for patient safety and uphold regulatory compliance standards
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications maintained
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated excellence in critical thinking and emergency response
- Commitment to cultural competency and patient-centered care
