Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and document electronic health records accurately
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise attention to safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license (or compact license)
- BSN preferred; Associates degree with 2+ years experience considered
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic) preferred
- Certification in specialty area (e.g., ICU, ER) a plus
