Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care with precision and compassion in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with meticulous attention to detail
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, progress, and response to interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and adhere to all regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license (required) with BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Proficiency in EHR systems and documentation best practices
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations while maintaining compassionate care
