Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical conditions continuously.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to physician orders.
- Document patient care plans, medical history, and progress updates accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and aftercare.
- Respond to medical emergencies and critical situations promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure safety.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (new graduates with relevant internship are encouraged to apply).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
