Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care across diverse patient populations during weekend shifts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to safety protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to critical changes
- Document clinical observations accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to hospital policies
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license with no restrictions
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong weekend availability and reliability
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
