Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned units (ICU/ER/Stepdown)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, documenting accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active GA RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- 2+ years acute care experience (weekend shift preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Flexibility to rotate units as needed
