Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and response to interventions, escalating care immediately when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, medication management, and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license issued by the State of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
