Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency, critical care, and medical-surgical settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document clinical observations accurately in electronic health record systems
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with advanced life support interventions
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license with unrestricted privileges
- BSN degree or higher preferred (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR and critical care monitoring systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated teamwork experience
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships
