Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in ER, Med-Surg, and ICU units per hospital protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EPIC system)
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs during shift coverage
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN #)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- EPIC EHR proficiency
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Flexibility for 12-hour shifts (Sat/Sun)
