Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to assigned units during weekend shifts.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond effectively to emergent situations and critical care needs.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning weekend team.
