Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg and ICU units
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Document patient records using Epic EMR system
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment
- Precept new nurses and participate in quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license (or compact state)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Weekend shift availability mandatory (Sat/Sun)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
