Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations during shift hours.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Commitment to adhering to HIPAA regulations and hospital standards of care.
