Responsibilities
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, medical history, and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document all patient care activities and changes in condition in electronic medical records (EMR) promptly.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure comfort and safety.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and utilize critical thinking skills to resolve issues.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday).
