Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in emergency, critical care, and general medicine units
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Mentor new staff and uphold quality assurance protocols
- Participate in weekend-specific rapid response team activations
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 12-hour shifts)
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
