Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in alignment with hospital protocols and standards of care.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments, verifying patient identities and checking for allergies prior to delivery.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality outcomes.
- Vital Signs & Monitoring: Monitor patient vitals and respond immediately to any changes in clinical status or emergent situations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity of care.
- Patient Comfort: Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
Qualifications
- Current Florida RN License: Must be in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; PALS preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Compassion: Strong dedication to the highest ethical standards and patient safety.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
