Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Monitor patient vitals and response to treatment, ensuring immediate intervention when necessary.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient management.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital standards.
- Administer medications and manage patient pain control protocols.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Nevada.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
